Two Sites Serve Wichita Suburban Area

The Learning Connection has two locations including a new location in Mulvane at K-15 and Rock Road.  The original location (formerly known as Clearwater Connection) continues to operate in Schulte on K-42 highway southwest of the Wichita airport.

The Learning Connection offers computer-assisted instruction for students to complete a high school diploma. Students are encouraged to attend as much as possible on-site and are allowed to work online after completing orientation attendance requirements. The program serves adult students whose class has already graduated.   

The Learning Connection also offers makeup credits for students who are still in high school and are allowed to take classes with the permission of their high school counselors. The Credit Recovery Program allows high school students to make up credits during the school year, and Summer School allows students to come to the summer sessions and make up credits. The cost for these programs is $125 per half credit class. 

The Learning Connection opened in the fall of 1995 and is sponsored by the Argonia, Clearwater, Conway Springs and Mulvane school districts in cooperation with South Central Kansas Education Service Center, which is located in Clearwater.
