Lawrence Diploma Completion Program

August 10, 2007

DID YOUR CLASS GRADUATE WITHOUT YOU?

If your class did graduate from high school without you, you have a chance to make up for a missed opportunity. The Lawrence Diploma Completion Program may be just what you are looking for to accomplish the goal of completing your high school diploma.

The Lawrence DCP is starting its fourth year of operation located at the "Malls" shopping center at 23rd and Louisiana. The Douglas County Jail site is starting its fifth year of operation. To date, approximately 80 students have graduated from the two combined sites.

The Lawrence DCP is non-profit and state funded. It is sponsored by The South Central Kansas Education Service Center. The program is designed to accommodate students primarily who are 18 or older and whose class has graduated already from high school.

Upon completing the needed credits, students are awarded a Free State High Schools, Lawrence High School, or Perry-Lecompton High School diploma, depending upon where they previously attended or where they currently reside.

Don't miss this opportunity to "Complete a Diploma... Complete a Dream." For more information about Lawrence DCP or any of its programs, e-mail ssteele@sckesc.org or check out the links listed on the right side of the page.
